RRR box office collection Day 13: Jr NTR, Ram Charan's film continues its dream run

Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR is just a few days away from grossing the coveted Rs 1000 crore-mark worldwide. The war drama starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan is having a fantastic run in theatres.
Director SS Rajamouli's RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan has been re-writing box office records ever since it hit theatres in March. The film is now closer to the Rs 1000 crore-mark, which is expected to be achieved by the end of this weekend. The film did the unthinkable as it managed to cross Rs 100 crore share in the Nizam area in Telangana. RRR is the first film to achieve this rare feat in Nizam.
Jr NTR and Ram Charan-starrer RRR graced the cinemas on March 25 after getting postponed multiple times. The film's shooting and release were postponed several times due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, RRR has collected a whopping Rs 939.41 crore in 12 days. On its 13th day, the film managed to rake in over Rs 10 crore, thereby taking the total collection closer to Rs 950 crore. At this rate, RRR will cross the Rs 1000 crore-mark by the end of this weekend.

RRR created another record in the Nizam area in Telangana. It became the first film to collect Rs 100 crore (share). Trade analyst LM Kaushik wrote, "#RRR #RRRMovie Nizam area *theatrical share* smashes the 100 CR mark. A film doing theatrical share of 100 CR in a single big territory/state is a Herculean task. In a major industry like Kollywood, no film has done even 90 CR (leave alone 100 CR) share in TN, till date! (sic)."

RRR is an epic war drama written by Vijayendra Prasad. The epic war drama features Jr NTR and Ram Charan as Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju, respectively. The film is produced on a mammoth budget of Rs 450 crore. Composer MM Keeravani, cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar and editor Sreekar Prasad form the technical crew of RRR.
