Rolls-Royce is working on its very own all-electric car, called the Rolls-Royce Spectre that will come to market in Q4, 2023.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced to the world that the British marquee is working on its very own all-electric car, called the Rolls-Royce Spectre that will come to market in Q4, 2023. Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made the announcement earlier this evening, fulfilling the 1900 prophecy of the brand’s founder, Charles Rolls. The global testing of the Rolls-Royce Spectre electric car will cover 2.5 million km, and will be underpinned by Rolls-Royce’s own architecture. The company also announced that the brand will offer only electric cars by 2030, starting off the journey with the all-new Rolls-Royce Spectre electric.
In 2017, Rolls-Royce debuted the Phantom, and with it the marque’s scalable and flexible aluminium architecture that would underpin all forthcoming Rolls-Royce motor cars. The platform was developed, to not only underpin the Cullinan and the Ghost, but also future electric cars to be built by the company at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and headquarters in Goodwood, England. Under the platform, the new Rolls-Royce Spectre electric car will spawn future Rolls-Royce products. Although unconfirmed, the two-door coupe will be able to catapult from 0-100kmph in less than 4 seconds, if we take the Ghost’s 4.3 second sprint as a benchmark.

OpenAI's head of ChatGPT, Nick Turley, has claimed that the AI startup may rethink its unlimited subscription plan. Turley believes that having an unlimited AI plan would be similar to having unlimited electricity, something that may not make sense. His comments come after OpenAI CEO Sam Altman hinted at selling intelligence as a utility in the future.
