Madhavan's Rocketry: The Nambi Effect had a solid second week at the box office. With positive word of mouth, the collections will see an increase during the weekend.
R Madhavan's directorial debut venture, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, completed two successful weeks in theatres. The film's performance was exceptional when compared to the first week and that is due to positive word of mouth. With the same vigour, Rocketry has stepped into its third week to mint more money. It is to be seen if the film will enter the profit zone soon.
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was released in theatres on July 1 in three languages. The film encapsulated the life of ISRO scientist, Nambi Narayanan, who was falsely charged with espionage.
According to trade reports, Rocketry managed to collect over Rs 1 crore on its 14th day at the box office. During its second week in theatres, the film maintained a steady collection of Rs 1 crore (approx) every day. This was indeed an eventful week for Rocketry.
Rocketry: The Nambir Effect marks the directorial debut of Madhavan. The actor played the titular role and had to break his jaw to look like Nambi Narayanan. Apart from Madhavan, Simran, Misha Ghoshal, Ravi Raghavendra and several others played supporting roles in the film.
