The Akhtar's are going to have a delightful weekend, courtesy Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar's wedding. Though there is no official update from the couple, IndiaToday.in has learnt exclusive details about their marriage, which is reportedly set to take place on February 19, Sunday. Earlier, it was being reported that Farhan-Shibani might tie the knot on February 21, 2022 but there is a change in the plan.
The buzz is that Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding will happen in Khandala on February 19 in the traditional Marathi style. The mehendi is slated to take place today and the sangeet will happen tomorrow at Akhtar’s bungalow in Khandala.
A close friend of the couple revealed to IndiaToday.in, "Farhan and Shibani want to keep it as private as possible. They are not calling too many people. It will just be close friends and family. Shabana and Javed are very happy for Farhan and have given Shibani their blessings."
As per a close friend of the duo, the mehendi ceremony is slated to be an elaborate affair. Shibani Dandekar's friends Monica Dogra and Rhea Chakraborty are reportedly going to attend their friend's pre-wedding functions and the wedding. IndiaToday.in has also learnt that sangeet preparations are already on. Shibani's friends are planning the songs. Rhea Chakraborty, who is extremely close to Dandekar, might be performing at her sangeet.
Meanwhile, Shibani's bachelorette party is also going to take place. Her sisters are reportedly in charge of the same. Shibani's close friends, including Rhea, are going to be a part of it. A few days ago, Farhan's bachelor party took place.
With so many details pouring in about Farhan and Shibani's marriage, fans are excited to see the photos and videos from the couple's pre-wedding functions and the main day.
