Remo D’Souza paid off the loan for DID L’il Master 5's Himanshu. The 8-year-old contestant impressed Remo with his dance moves.
DID L'il Master was recently launched on Zee TV. In its first episode, the dance reality show gave the audiences a glimpse of this year’s mind-blowing talent. This weekend, on Dance India Dance L’il Masters audition episode the viewers will also get to see 8-year-old Himanshu's dance. His stunning performance will leave the judges in awe.
The judges were amazed by his talent. The young Delhi boy's journey got them emotional. Himanshu lost his father at a very young stage and has been raised by his mom since then. Being a single mother of 2, she started riding a rickshaw to feed them and to support their dreams. Himanshu's mother took a loan to buy the rickshaw so that she has a constant source of income.
She was often ridiculed and harassed by people on the road for being a female rickshaw driver. Remo D’Souza was moved by the struggles of this single mother, who is striving to provide her kids with a better future. The filmmaker offered her help.
Talking about the same, Remo said, “I would love to help you with this EMI that you’re paying for your rickshaw. Please let me know the amount that is pending, I will pay it off. I don’t want you or Himanshu to stress about it anymore, now that rickshaw is yours. You focus on the kids now and live a happy life after this.”
Another contestant who made the judges emotional was Anand Kumar, who hails from a small village in Delhi. He is a son of a vegetable vendor and was always teased by his friends in the school that his father sells vegetables on the streets. During the pandemic, he had to leave his school because of a financial crisis at home. But his family did their best to support his dream of becoming a dancer and did not stop him from taking his dance classes.
Judge Mouni Roy got teary-eyed after she heard how Anand’s family stood by him and supported him despite the problems they faced during the pandemic.
