Amid the escalating tension, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's ex-wife Reham Khan tweeted in which she purportedly took a jibe at the embattled leader. The tweet had a reference to the Kapil Sharma Show.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is in the midst of a major crisis after his government effectively lost the majority in the Lower House of Parliament ahead of a crucial vote on the no-confidence motion. With less than a year to go for national elections in Pakistan, Imran Khan is facing a challenge from opposition parties. The country plunged into political chaos after Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Shehbaz Sharif moved a no-confidence motion against the Imran Khan government on March 8. Amid the escalating tension, PM Khan's ex-wife Reham Khan tweeted in which she purportedly took a jibe at the embattled leader.

There have been several assertions and discussions on social media about Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ouster from the position. Amid the discussions online, Reham Khan shared a meme on Twitter featuring her ex-husband and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu. The former cricketers can be seen having a discussion in the picture. “Maine sab intezam kar lia. IPL me commentary karenge dono bhai milke (I have made all arrangements. Both brothers will do IPL commentary) (sic),” were the words inscribed on the meme. “I think Kapil Sharma Show is a better match!!” she wrote sharing the post.

For the uninitiated, Navjot Singh Sidhu had been a part of The Kapil Sharma Show for several years. The reality television show is hosted by comedian and actor Kapil Sharma. Sidhu resigned as Punjab Congress chief after the party’s big loss in the chief ministerial elections.
