Redmi K60 could come with Apple’s Dynamic Island-like feature

It seems that the Redmi K60 could launch with a new Dynamic Island feature that we have seen on the new iPhones. A user on Weibo requested Xiaomi to launch the Redmi K60 with Smart Island feature, and the company’s China President Lu Weibing asked people if they need this. A lot of users have responded, saying that they would like to see a similar type of feature on Xiaomi phones too some users were also against this implementation.
It is currently unknown whether Smart Island will arrive on the Redmi K60 or not, but we do expect something similar to arrive on Android phones in the coming months. It is worth noting that some MIUI developer are already testing the Dynamic Island feature for music controls and notifications.
Apple introduced its iPhone 14 Pro models with a new Dynamic Island design. The Pro models have a black pill-shaped cut-out design on the front and Apple has cleverly blended it with UI elements to make better use of the upper space. The black bar changes size and shape when the iPhone receives important alerts, notifications, and live scores, among other things.
So, what all you can see in Dynamic Island? You can check Apple Pay transaction details, charging status, battery percentage, Face ID unlocking alert, NFC interaction, privacy indicators when microphone or camera is on, AirDrop file transfer alert, Airplane mode or data alerts, and more.
It is not surprising if the Dynamic Island feature arrives on Android phones too. In the past, several Android manufacturers have copied the design of an iPhone as well as Apple Watch, purely because Apple products are pretty expensive and users want a similar feel in the lower price range. The new Dynamic Island feature is pretty cool and is expected to come on several Android phones if the demand for it increases.
