Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday kick-started the 14th day of his Bharat Jodo Yatra along from Kochi in Kerala with thousands of party workers.
As Rahul Gandhi winds his way on foot through the southern states, he has come under scathing attack from the BJP, which has disparaged the Bharat Jodo Yatra as “communal”. The saffron party has also accused the Wayanad MP of “appeasement politics” and for rubbing shoulders with a controversial preacher.
The Congress has fired back at the BJP, claiming that the saffron party is rattled by the Gandhi scion’s burgeoning popularity ahead of assembly elections in key states later this year and in early 2023.
On Day 14, Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by Rajasthan MLA Sachin Pilot, who joined the march early in the morning.
