Newly-wed star couple Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda promise to unveil a special surprise for fans on February 28, which pertains to their upcoming film, Ranabaali. The film’s production house, Mythri Movie Makers, has officially announced that the surprise will feature Vijay and Rashmika’s characters Ranabaali and Jayamma, further heightening anticipation around the much-awaited period action drama.
The makers shared a new poster and teased, “Our RANABAALI and JAYAMMA. A special surprise on Feb 28th, you’ll #Fallinlove with them once again. #Ranabaali Grand release worldwide on September 11th (sic).”

The film, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, has already generated massive momentum. Its recently released glimpse crossed over 15 million views, showcasing Vijay Deverakonda in a fierce and transformative avatar set against the haunting backdrop of colonial India. With intense visuals, emotionally charged storytelling, and a powerful background score, Ranabaali promises a larger-than-life narrative rooted in rebellion, truth, and vengeance. Rashmika is set to play the female lead.
The film boasts a strong ensemble cast, including international actor Arnold Vosloo, further adding to its global appeal. Ranabaali is slated to release in theatres on September 11, 2026. Ranabaali also marks the third on-screen collaboration between Vijay and Rashmika after Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.
