Ramanathapuram DEO flags off voter awareness bike rally
In view of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Elections - 2026, District Election Officer and District Collector Simranjeet Singh Kahlon, flagged off and participated in a two-wheeler awareness rally to create awareness among the general public regarding 100% voting.
As various awareness events were being conducted in Ramanathapuram district to create awareness among the public about the necessity of 100% voting, the two-wheeler awareness rally was held on behalf of the Police Department, Revenue Department, Rural Development Department, and the Regional Transport Office, in which about 200 people participated.
This rally was held to create awareness among the public regarding the importance of 100% voting. The rally started at the entrance of the District Collector’s Office and passed through Bharathi Nagar, D-Block, Old Bus Stand, and Aranmanai (Palace) before returning to the District Collector’s Office.
Earlier, Mr. Simranjeet Singh Kahlon, Superintendent of Police G. Chandeesh, and Additional Collector (Development) Divyanshu Nigamtook a selfie regarding voter awareness at the entrance of the District Collector’s Office.
