The Rajasthan government announced on Sunday that the investigation into the Alwar rape case would be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The Rajasthan government has decided to hand over the probe into the Alwar rape case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). State government will write to the Union government, recommending that the case be turned over to the CBI, a press note from the CMO said.
A decision in this regard was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on Sunday.
