
Rajasthan class 6, class 7 students to be promoted without exams

The Rajasthan government has taken a decision to promote students of classes 6 and 7 without exams in light of the rising Covid-19 cases across the country.
After promoting students of classes 1 to 5 without exams, the Rajasthan government has also decided to promote RBSE students of classes 6 and 7 without exams. The decision has been taken in light of the rising Covid-19 cases in the state and around India. Even though the students will not be appearing for any exams, they will be evaluated on the initiatives taken by state schools to teach online such as Social Media Interface for Learning Engagement (SMILE), Smile-2, and Aao Ghar Se Sikhein. The admission process for the next class will begin from April 15 onwards and those who moved schools in this time will be promoted to the next class in their new school. As per an official notice by RBSE, the enrolment process will be carried out accordingly.
