R Madhavan, Ricky Kej, Vani Tripathi, Prasoon Joshi, Anurag Thakur, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shekhar Kapur represented India at the Cannes 2022 red carpet. The film festival commenced from May 17.

Cannes 2022 has started with the utmost pomp and show with India being at the centre of focus. India is the ‘Country of Honour’ at Marche Du Films organised alongside the Cannes Film Festival in France. After Deepika Padukone stunned in a Sabyasachi outfit at the Jury Call on May 17, R Madhavan, along with Ricky Kej, Vani Tripathi, Prasoon Joshi, Anurag Thakur (Union Minister for I&B, Youth Affairs & Sports), Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shekhar Kapur represented India at the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.

Cannes 2022 holds a special significance in R Madhavan’s film career. The actor is making his directorial debut on a mammoth scale. His upcoming film, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is heading towards a world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, and the actor is also representing India on the prestigious platform. Madhavan, along with Ricky Kej, Vani Tripathi, Prasoon Joshi, Anurag Thakur (Union Minister for I&B, Youth Affairs & Sports), Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shekhar Kapur posed for photos on the Cannes red carpet, representing India.

R Madhavan, along with his Rocketry: The Nambi Effect team arrived at Cannes on May 17. The film has been written, directed and produced by Madhavan himself.
