On the second day of his Japan visit, PM Modi is attending the crucial Quad summit and holding bilateral meetings with the leaders of the US, Japan and Australia.
The second day Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Japan began with the Quad summit in Tokyo. This is the second in-person summit of the Quad leaders -- India’s PM Modi, US President Joe Biden, Japanese PM Fumio Kishida and Australian PM Anthony Albanese.
Speaking at the beginning of the Quad summit, PM Modi said, “I’m happy to be among friends today. Quad has gained world prominence. Our mutual trust and determination is giving new hope to democratic principles Quad has a constructive agenda for Indo-Pacific. This will make it a force for good.”

Later, PM Modi will hold bilateral meetings with US President Biden, Japanese PM Kishida and Australian PM Albanese.
