Rakhi Sawant has removed ex-hubby Ritesh's tattoo. Sharing a video of the painful tattoo removal process, the actress-dancer said that one should never get a tattoo in spite of falling madly in love.
Rakhi Sawant and Ritesh always had the spotlight on them during their Bigg Boss 15 days. From their gharelu conversations to ‘just Rakhi Sawant’ antics, the two were the talk of the season. In fact, we still remember Rakhi and Ritesh’s lip-lock during the grand finale of BB 15. But on February 2022, Rakhi announced that she and Ritesh have parted ways after 3 years of togetherness. And now, Rakhi has also removed Ritesh’s tattoo from her waist.
Rakhi Sawant and her husband Ritesh called it quits after three years. After formally writing an official statement on social media in February 2022, Rakhi has now removed her ex-husband’s name from her body. She shared a video on Instagram where she was seen removing Ritesh’s tattoo and said, “Aaj main apna ye Ritesh tattoo nikalne wali hoon finally.”
Dealing with the pain of the tattoo removal process, Rakhi further went on to say, “3 saal shaadi ke.. Ritesh tum permanently meri zindagi se aur meri body se nikal gaye ho.” She further added, “Zindagi mein kabhi tattoo nahi karwana chahiye pyaar mein paagal hoke. Fir nikalna bahut mushkil ho jata hai” (Ritesh, you’re now permanently out of both my life and body. Nobody should ever get anything inked on their body while madly in love. It becomes difficult to get it removed).
On Valentine’s Day eve, Rakhi Sawant confirmed that she and Ritesh have indeed parted ways. She wrote, “Dear friends and well wishers just wanted to say that Ritesh and I have decided to part ways. After the Bigg Boss show a lot has happened and I was unaware of certain things which were out of my control . We have tried to work out differences and tried to make things work but I think it’s best we both move on amicably and we both enjoy our lives separately. I am really sad and heartbroken that this has to happen before Valentine’s Day but the decision has to be made. I wish Ritesh the best in life but for me at this stage of life I have to focus on my work and my life and keep myself happy and healthy. Thank you for understanding and supporting me always (sic).”
Rakhi was last seen in Bigg Boss 15.
