Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh has demanded security cover following the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala.
Just days after the killing of Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, the spotlight is on another singer, Mankirt Aulakh. According to sources, Aulakh had received similar death threats in April.
Aulakh has demanded Punjab Police to increase his security cover following the threats he received from the Davinder Bambiha gang.
Punjabi singer-turned-politician Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district on Sunday, May 29.
Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for Moose Wala’s murder. Brar, who has close ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, said in a Facebook post that he had killed Moose Wala to avenge the death of gangster Vicky Middukhera.
According to Punjab Police dossier, Goldy Brar's full name is Satwinderjit Singh. He is a gangster of the A+ category and the court has declared him a fugitive. According to sources, after Lawrence went to jail, Goldy Brar took over the command of the gang,
The gangs and associates of Lawrence Bishnoi and Davinder Bambiha are engaged in a turf-war in Punjab.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
