The accused have been identified as Sepoy Harpreet Singh (23), who was posted in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag and belongs to 19 Rashtriya Rifles, and Sepoy Gurbhej Singh (23), who was working as a clerk in Kargil and belongs to 18 Sikh Light Infantry.
