Anmol Ratan Sidhu, the Advocate General of Punjab, was attacked by unknown assailants near Haryana's Panipat on Tuesday. The AG was travelling on a train from Delhi to Chandigarh when miscreants pelted stones and shattered the windowpane.
On Monday, AG Sidhu appeared in the Lawrence Bishnoi case in the Supreme Court.
Following the attack, a complaint was given to Punjab DGP. The incident happened a while back near Panipat when the Punjab AG was coming back to Chandigarh.
