Pune police find links in bank armed robbery cases; investigation underway

The Pune Police (Rural), which has been investigating a case of the death of a bank manager, has linked it to another case that occurred in the Ahmednagar district.

The Pune(Rural) Police, which is probing a case of an armed robbery at a Credit Cooperative Society in Junnar which led to the death of a bank manager, has linked the investigation to another similar case that occurred in Ahmednagar District.

The other case in which the bank manager was also injured during the robbery at a cooperative bank in Parner, Ahmednagar, had at least one armed assailant who is assumed to be common in both the heists, as per police.
