
Professor assaults college principal, slaps him inside his office in MP's Ujjain

A video of an assistant professor assaulting and slapping a college principal in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain has gone viral on social media.
Police booked an assistant professor on charges of assault and intimidation after an alleged video of him thrashing the principal of the college went viral on social media. The entire fight was caught on CCTV camera and the incident has been reported from Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain.
The video shows that a brawl broke out between the professor and principal, which soon escalated into an ugly fight. Initially, the professor was caught on camera engaged in a verbal spat with the principal and later on, he threw his books at him and even slapped him, reported NDTV.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
