Priyanka Chopra Jonas marked International Women’s Day with a deeply personal social media post, choosing nostalgia over glamour. The actor shared a series of childhood photographs to honour the women who have shaped her life, offering fans a rare glimpse into the early years of those she holds closest.
The carousel began with a childhood photo of Chopra herself, accompanied by the text, “This is who’s so grateful.” The next slide featured a young picture of her mother, captioned simply: “Mom. This is who produced me.”
Each image in the series highlighted another important woman from Chopra’s life. Through short captions and warm messages, the actor expressed gratitude for their influence and support over the years.
In the post’s caption, she wrote, “Happy Women’s Day to the girls that run my world. My team. So grateful for your contribution and hard work every single day. I could not do this without you all. Also, Rohini Iyer, Tess, and so many other incredible women who surround me, I’m grateful for you every day.”
To underline her message, Chopra also included a quote by Coco Chanel: “A girl should be two things: who and what she wants.”
She concluded the post by extending her wishes to women everywhere, writing, “Happy Women’s Day to all the incredible women out there who work so hard to balance their lives. It doesn’t go unseen.”
