President Ram Nath Kovind was shifted to AIIMS on Saturday. His health is stable and he will undergo a bypass procedure on Tuesday.
President Ram Nath Kovind was shifted to the New Delhi-based All India Institute of medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday and is scheduled to undergo a bypass procedure on Tuesday, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a statement. The statement said President Kovind's health is "stable" and he is currently under the care of experts at AIIMS.The President was shifted to AIIMS in the afternoon. "Post investigations, doctors have advised him to undergo a planned bypass procedure which is expected to be performed on the morning of March 30, Tuesday. The President's health is stable and he is under the care of the experts at the AIIMS," the statement from Rashtrapati Bhavan said.
As per the Bill, those involved in unlawful conversions on the pretext of marriage will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and shall also be liable for a fine of Rs 1 lakh. Violations in respect of a minor, a person of unsound mind, a woman or a person belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and a fine of Rs 5 lakh.
