Pranitha Subhash is all praise for The Kashmir Files, says she and her husband were moved to tears

Pranitha Subhash is the latest celebrity to appreciate Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files. She revealed that she and her husband were moved to tears after watching the film.

Pranitha Subhash took to Instagram to reveal that she and her husband, Nitin Raju, were moved to tears after watching The Kashmir Files. She shared a poster and screengrab and called it a 'must-watch film for every Indian.' The actress also requested everyone to watch the film. Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, The Kashmir Files talks about the sufferings endured by Kashmiri Pandits in 1990.

The Kashmir Files has been receiving rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film saw a massive jump in collections on Monday (March 14) and is going strong at the box office across the country. Many celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam and Hansal Mehta took to social media to share their thoughts about the film.

Pranitha Subhash is the latest one to join the bandwagon. After watching the film with her husband, Nitin Raju, she wrote that they were moved to tears. The actress asked her followers to watch the film in theatres.

Her post read, "This had to be a post. Kashmir files is a must watch for every Indian citizen to learn the heart wrenching truth of what the Kashmiri pandits went through 30 years ago. My husband and I were left teary eyed at the end of the movie.. please do watch if you haven’t already (sic)."

Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, The Kashmir Files is set in the 1990s during the Kashmir insurgency. The film sheds light on the sufferings Kashmiri Pandits had to go through 30 years ago. The film, which is based on true events, features Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Bhasha Sumbali and Chinmay Mandlekar, among others.
