Prabhas gave a shout-out to Rasha Thadani for her Chaap Tilak singing debut from her upcoming film Laikey Laikaa. The movie also features Abhay Verma in a pivotal character.
Actor Rasha Thadani received praise from Prabhas as she made her singing debut with Chaap Tilak from Laikey Laikaa. The The RajaSaab actor gave a shout-out to Rasha for her singing skills.
Prabhas's Instagram story read, "Such a lovely singing debut. @rashathadani Your performance in #ChaapTilak is honest, heartfelt and comes straight from the heart. Congratulations (sic)." Rasha responded on her Instagram story and captioned, "Prabhas sir forever grateful...(sic)."
Rasha is featuring opposite actor Abhay Verma in the upcoming romance-drama Laikey Laikaa. The first look of the duo from the film shows them in a street-style look blended with modern graffiti. In the first poster, Abhay are seen locked in a passionate, blood-smeared embrace while sharing a kiss in a narrow, dimly lit alleyway. Abhay wears a dark, textured zip-up jacket with visible distress marks, while Rasha is dressed in a light-coloured, traditional-style kurti that is heavily stained with red splatters, emphasising the film's intense take on romance.
Laikey Laikaa is written and directed by Saurabh Gupta and co-produced by Bhavna Datta Talvar and Raghav Gupta. Rasha made her Bollywood debut with director Abhishek Kapoor's Azaad (2025), opposite debutant actor Aaman Devgan. The film was co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor and also featured Ajay in a pivotal character.
Abhay's first theatrical release was director Aditya Sarpotdar's horror-comedy Munjya opposite actor Sharvari Wagh. The movie also featured Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi, Sathyaraj, Taran Singh and others in crucial roles. Abhay will also be seen in director Siddharth Anand's King, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji and others.
Rasha-Abhay's Laikey Laikaa is set to release in Summer 2026. However, an official release date is yet to be announced by the production house.
