Police in Vijayawada arrest four youths and seize 16 grams of MDMA during a drug bust raid.
Police busted a drug peddling racket in NTR Police Commissionerate, and seized 16 gm of MDMA from them under Machavaram police station limits.
On a tip-off, the Task Force police conducted raid on a house near Moghalrajpuram and arrested four youth, who were working in hotels and restaurants.
Police arrested Koushik Reddy, A. Vinod, P. Achyut and K. Ananda Rao, all natives of Krishna and NTR Districts, said Machavaram Circle Inspector D. V. Ramana.
“The main accused Koushik Reddy allegedly brought MDMA from Bengaluru, and was supplying the drug to the youth. He was involved in ganja case earlier,” the CI told The Hindu on Saturday (March 7, 2026).
Police are verifying the mobile phones of the peddlers and are trying to find out the customers.
