PM Modi took his mother's blessing and had dinner with her in Gandhinagar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his mother Hiraba in Ahmedabad on Friday night while he was on a two-day visit to Gujarat.
PM Modi met his mother after a gap of two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The prime minister visited his younger brother Pankaj Modi's house in Raysan area on the outskirts of Gandhinagar where his mother lives.
PM Modi reached around 9 pm after finishing his engagements for the day. He took her blessings and also had dinner with her. They ate khichdi.
When the Prime Minister arrived to meet his mother, several people from around the area also gathered to catch a glimpse of him.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
