'PM Modi ke tweets ulte nahi lagte!' Why Kartik Aaryan said so at Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 trailer launch

Kartik Aaryan spoke about PM Narendra Modi's tweets at the trailer launch of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. In case you are wondering why, we bring to you a detailed explanation.

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 trailer finally released today. Filled with punches, one of the dialogues from the trailer has a Donald Trump tweet connection. And needless to say, it has gone on to become one of the most popular moments from the trailer. During the trailer launch of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 held in Mumbai today, Kartik was asked about his opinion on PM Narendra Modi’s tweets in reference to the Donald Trump tweet dialogue. While Kartik had the smartest reply, wondering why the question cropped up in the first place? We bring to you, a detailed explanation.

During the trailer launch of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan was asked about his opinion on PM Narendra Modi’s tweets. The reference goes back to his dialogue from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 trailer, where he says, “Donald Trump ke tweet aur chudailo ke feet hamesha ulte hi hote hain” (Donald Trump’s tweets and witches’ feet are always opposite.) In the similar lines, Kartik, at the trailer launch event, was asked about his opinion on PM Narendra Modi’s tweets. For the unaware, Kartik and PM Modi have often interacted with each other on Twitter. Kiara Advani answered on Kartik’s behalf by saying his mom was sitting in the audience.

But Kartik replied, “Nahi, bilkul ulte nahi lagte. Jinke lag rahe the, wo bol diya uspe dialogue. Wo actually chudailo ke feet pe zyada concentrate kiya tha waha. Tumne galat jagah concentrate kiya” (No, I don’t find PM Modi’s tweets opposite at all. The one which felt opposite has already been converted into a dialogue. The dialogue’s focus was on witches’ feet, you concentrated somewhere else).”

While Kartik Aaryan has tagged PM Narendra Modi in his tweets many a time, the latter has also responded in the wittiest manner possible. For instance, during a meeting with PM Modi in 2019, Kartik shared a selfie with Karan Johar, Dinesh Vijan and Imtiaz Ali. The photo had PM Modi’s back facing the camera. Kartik tweeted, “Losers’ backfie with the Honorable PM! #ImtiazAli @karanjohar #Dineshvijjan (sic)” while sharing the photo. But PM Modi replied, “Not losers but Rockstars! No selfie Jab We Met but there will always be another occasion. :) (sic).”
