PM Modi condoles Krishnam Raju's demise, says 'will remember his cinematic brilliance'

PM Narendra Modi condoled Krishnam Raju's demise on Twitter. The veteran actor breathed his last due to multiple health complications.

Veteran Tollywood actor and politician Uppalapati Venkata Krishnam Raju, also known as Krishnam Raju, passed away on September 11. The 82-year-old actor was suffering from multiple health complications. Krishnam Raju was also called Rebel Star by many. After celebs from the South film industry expressed their condolence on social media, PM Narendra Modi posted a throwback photo with the late actor and Prabhas and paid his tribute.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled Krishnam Raju's demise on Twitter. He also posted a throwback photo with the late veteran actor and Prabhas and wrote, "Saddened by the passing away of Shri UV Krishnam Raju Garu. The coming generations will remember his cinematic brilliance and creativity. He was also at the forefront of community service and made a mark as a political leader. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti (sic)."

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his grief on former Union Minister and actor, Krishnam Raju's demise. CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy lauded the contribution of the Rebel Star and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao condoled the demise of veteran film actor, Krishnam Raju. CM Chandrasekhar Rao mentioned that Krishnan Raju's demise is a great loss for the Telugu silver screen. He also mentioned the veteran actor's contribution to films and lauded his fifty-year-long career. The CM said that Krishnam Raju served the people of the country as a member of the Lok Sabha, as a Union Minister and through the field of political administration. He further added that he prayed for his soul to rest in peace. CM Chandrasekhar Rao also expressed his deepest condolences to the family members of late Krishnam Raju.
