PIL in Supreme Court challenges reduced working hours of Bombay High Court amid Covid-19

The plea filed by activist Ghanshyam Upadhyay stated that the principal bench of the High Court had been “functioning only for namesake” causing hardships to the litigants and advocates.

A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Supreme Court by a Mumbai-based lawyer challenging the new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the Bombay High Court in the view of Covid-19.
