MDMK general secretary Vaiko, who is on a State-wide tour to seek votes for the INDIA bloc candidates, shares his apprehension that the BJP will change the Constitution if it retains power at the Centre. In an interview with The Hindu on Tuesday, he says the frequent visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have no bearing on the outcome of the election in the State, and there was no scope for the BJP’s victory. The Karnataka government will discuss with officials the possibility of creating a portal for unemployed youth to share their details and access job opportunities in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), Minister for Small Industries and Public Enterprises Sharanabasappa Darshanapur said in the Legislative Council on Tuesday.
