Pawan Kalyan tested positive for the novel coronavirus on April 16. Mahesh Babu and celebrities from the Telugu film industry took to Twitter to wish him a speedy recovery.

On April 16, Pawan Kalyan's political party, Janasena, issued a statement saying that the actor has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
