Patna: Vehicle carrying 25 passengers falls in Ganga, 8 bodies recovered

A passenger vehicle carrying 25 people in Danapur, Patna fell into Ganga on Friday morning. Eight people are confirmed dead, while many others are still missing.
At least eight people were killed and several others went missing after a passenger vehicle fell into the Ganga River in Patna's Danapur. Bihar: A jeep, carrying at least 15 passengers, fell into river Ganga at Peepapul in Patna today; at least 10 people missing. Search operation for the missing peole is underway. pic.twitter.com/wObcjXFYQM The incident took place on Friday morning when a passenger vehicle carrying at least 25 people was going over the river via Pipa Bridge. The vehicle reportedly lost balance and fell into the river. As per inputs, the passengers were coming back from a tilak ceremony. The rescue workers on site recovered eight bodies from the river.
