
Patna: New building at museum to be ready by March 2022

As per the reports, sixty per cent of work for the new one-storey building on the premises of the Patna Museum has been completed so far.
With the construction of a new one-storey building within its premises in full swing, Patna Museum is all set to expand its display area for visitors in the coming days.
As per the latest report by the Times of India (TOI), the new building, which is expected to be completed by March next year, is being built in a U shape, in the Indo-Saracenic style, covering the left, right and rear sides of the museum. The main attraction of the new construction is going to be the two digital galleries it will house, namely 'Origin of Ganga' and 'Patiliputra'.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
