A video that has gone viral on social media shows an American Airlines passenger punching a flight attendant.

A passenger travelling on an American Airlines flight was arrested and has been banned for life. Why, you may ask? Well, a video that has gone viral on social media shows the passenger punching a flight attendant. He was travelling from Los Cabos in Mexico to Los Angeles. The incident took place on American Airlines flight 377 on September 21.

A passenger who was onboard the same American Airlines flight recorded the entire episode on his phone. The video has now made its way to several social media platforms. Soon after the plane landed in LA, the passenger was immediately removed by officials of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), The Washington Post reported.

The video from the incident is creating quite a hullaballoo on social media. It shows the male flight attendant asking the passenger, “Are you threatening me?” Then, he turns around and attempts to walk up the aisle. The unruly passenger dressed in an orange floral shirt runs behind him and then punches the steward in the back of his head.
