Delhi government schools have seen an increase in the Class 10 pass percentage from 81.27 percent to 97.29 percent, and a rise in the Class 12 pass percentage from 96.29 percent to 98.21 percent.
After the compartment exams’ results declaration, there has been an unprecedented increase of 16.02 percent in class 10th board results in the Kejriwal Government's Schools, and now the overall passing percentage of class 10th has increased from 81.27 percent to 97.29 percent. This rise in passing percentage has also been witnessed in class 12th results of Kejriwal Government schools, wherein it has increased from 96.29 percent to 98.21 percent - an increment of 1.92 percent.
It is noteworthy that exams were held normally for the first time this year, after 2 years due to Covid-19. Due to Covid-19 during these 2 years, there was an adverse impact on students' education as well as their mental and emotional well-being. However, despite this, students of Kejriwal government schools have not only performed extraordinarily well in the 2022 Board examinations, but also surpassed the Pre-Covid Board Results.
Manish Sisodia, who is also Education minister, said that due to Corona, school education and student’s mental and emotional well-being has been adversely affected over the last two years.
The academic session of 2021-22 was also disrupted repeatedly by Corona and there was a significant reduction in learning opportunities for children. However, the CBSE board examinations proceeded as per usual. While our students performed brilliantly in this year’s exam, some could not pass one or two subjects and had to reappear in compartment examinations.
Before this, the board examinations were conducted normally before the Covid period, in session 2018-19. That year, the Class 10th board passing percentage for Delhi government schools was 81.44 percent after the compartment examinations.
Despite studies being affected due to Corona for 2 years, our children have performed exceptionally well this year, and far better, as compared to 2018-19. The 15.85 percent increase that has been registered as the result of the 10th board is proof of the hard work and dedication of our teachers.
Discussing the class 12th results, Manish Sisodia said that there has been an increase of 1.68 percent in the 12th board results after compartment examinations this year as compared to the same in 2018-19. While the 12th result after compartment exams was 96.53 percent in 2018-19, it is 98.21 percent after compartment examinations in 2021-22.
