Paras Kalnawat claims 'dark, shady' things happened with him in Anupamaa, says 'they made me delete proof'

Paras Kalnawat has claimed that dark, shady things happened to him in Anupamaa. The actor played the role of Samar Shah.

Paras Kalnawat is no longer a part of Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa. The actor played the role of Samar Shah in the show headlined by Rupali Ganguly. The actor's contract was terminated by the production house after he signed up Jhalak Dikhla Jaa on a rival channel. Since Paras didn't inform the Anupamaa makers about it, Rajan Shahi terminated his contract. Now, Paras has come out and claimed that 'dark and shady' things happened to him in the show.

In an interview with Times Of India, Paras Kalnawat claimed that the production team made him delete proof of things that happened to him.

Opening about it at length, the actor told the publication, "It was very dark and shady. Let those things remain buried. I recall that once I was called by the production team that I should keep quiet about it. I was strictly told that I will never divulge it. Then I was asked if I had any proof and when I showed it to them, they made me delete those proofs. They said I should forget what wrong had been done to me."

Despite that, Paras decided to let bygones be bygones. "Because I wanted to keep the show-politics away from me. I started isolating myself and in between the shots, I sat down in a corner to write shayris. Whatever happened here with me hasn't ever happened with me anywhere," he added.

After his exit from Anupamaa, Paras is all set to feature in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. The actor has confirmed his participation in the show, which will also feature Shilpa Shinide and Amruta Khanvilkar. As of now, the makers have not shared the premiere date of the dance reality show.
