Opposition parties submit no-confidence resolution against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, seek his removal
Congress has submitted a notice for a no-confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to the Secretary General of the House.
Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said the notice was submitted at 1:14 pm under Rule 94C of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business. The proposal carries the signatures of around 119 MPs.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
