Aam Admi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh on Sunday said that in the meeting with Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav, they did not talk about any alliance. It was just a formality to wish him his birthday, said Sanjay Singh. Sanjay Singh on Saturday met Akhilesh Yadav at Janeshwar Mishra trust office in Lucknow, triggering speculation about a tie-up between both AAP and SP ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections next year.
