OnePlus rolled out the first stable build of OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 to the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro back in December. Now, the company is rolling out yet another update on the stable channel with the Android security patches for January 2022.
OnePlus, the popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer launched its flagship OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro devices back in March of 2021. Both the smartphones have now received the OxygenOS 12 C.44 update. It comes with a bunch of new features, multiple optimisations, and some bug fixes.
One of the major updates is the Android Security Patch for January 2022. In addition to this, the new update will also take care of the bug that caused the notification bar to be dysfunctional in certain situations.
Some of the new features include an enhanced dark mode that lets you choose between three colour tones, improved desktop icons, new additional style options for Shelf Cards, Canvas AOD additions, and more.
