A man in Odisha claimed that he was given two doses of Covid-19 vaccine within five minutes. The incident took place in the Mayurbhanj district, whose district magistrate denied the charge. Read on to find out more details
A man in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district claimed that he was given a second dose of Covid-19 vaccine, Covishield barely five minutes after he had received the first dose. The incident took place at Khuntapura village of the district. Though vaccination centre admitted the 'mistake' but the Mayurbhanj district magistrate has denied the charge. According to the existing guidelines, the second dose of Covishield can be given to a beneficiary only after 12-16 weeks of receiving the first dose.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
