Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik writes to PM Modi seeking release of pending MGNREGS dues

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday wrote to PM Narendra Modi, seeking his attention towards the issue of delay in payment of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) wages.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking his intervention to release pending dues under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS).

In his letter to PM Modi, CM Patnaik said Rs 1088.72 crore liabilities including Rs 377.91 crore as wage component and Rs 710.81 crore as material component are pending under MGNREGS for Odisha.
