A Bangladeshi woman who illegally crossed the International Border for medical treatment was apprehended by the BSF, who handed her over to the authorities of her country.
When getting a visa became a hurdle, a Bangladeshi woman decided to illegally cross the International Border for her medical treatment. But when the BSF caught her, instead of prosecuting her, they handed her over to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) as a gesture of goodwill. BSF jawans under the South Bengal Frontier apprehended a Bangladeshi woman in the bordering area of North 24 Parganas district while she was illegally entering Indian territory. The 33-year-old woman, identified as Poliyara Begum (fictitious name), is a resident of Naugaon district, Bangladesh.
