Did you fall for Shah Rukh Khan's promotional gimmick that he is launching an OTT app, SRK+? Well, you are not alone.
Were you one of those who were tricked after Shah Rukh Khan announced on March 15 that he is launching his new OTT platform SRK+? Well, you are not alone, many fell for it. The superstar took to his social media accounts to clear the confusion today. The poster he shared on Tuesday was all just a build-up to Disney+ Hotstar's new ad campaign featuring the actor himself.
Disney+ Hotstar launched a new commercial featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Anurag Kashyap, which kind of makes it clear that SRK+ is not an app but the poster shared on March 15 was just a promotional gimmick for the upcoming advert.
In the ad, Shah Rukh is seen asking Anurag to share story ideas for the new app SRK+. However, every new idea he pitched to the filmmaker was already a film or series and is there on Disney+ Hotstar.
