West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has again hit out at the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government in the state, saying there was no rule of law under the current regime.
Speaking to media after paying homage to Dr BR Ambedkar at his statue in the West Bengal Assembly on Tuesday, Dhankhar said, "West Bengal's situation is so fearful that there is no rule of law, but only ruler's law here."
"Voters are not safe in West Bengal. We have seen post-poll violence, arson, loot, killings, rapes. We have put the community to shame," he added.

Dhankhar claimed that the state chief secretary did not pick up his calls. "Speaker of West Bengal Assembly is treating himself above the law. I am totally astonished," Dhankar said.
