
No cause for panic or worry in Mumbai: BMC officials as Covid-19 cases spike in city

Amidst concern over rising number of Covid-19 cases, Mumbai's civic body has reached out to reassure the citizens.
Addressing concern over the worsening Covid-19 situation in Mumbai, the city's civic body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), tried to reassure citizens saying that the situation is under control. BMC officials asked the citizens not to panic about the rising numbers of daily Covid-19 cases as adequate arrangement are in place to deal with the situation. BMC focuses on testing
As per the Bill, those involved in unlawful conversions on the pretext of marriage will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and shall also be liable for a fine of Rs 1 lakh. Violations in respect of a minor, a person of unsound mind, a woman or a person belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and a fine of Rs 5 lakh.
