Nithya Menen and Thaman, who are operating as the judges of aha's Telugu Indian Idol have indulged in a verbal clash. They took a dig at each other on the sets.

Nithya Menen and Thaman took a dig at each other on the sets of aha's Telugu Indian Idol. They appeared to be in disagreement over the verdict on the performance put up by Maruti and Shravana Bhargavi. The newly released promo of the forthcoming episode of Telugu Indian Idol gives a brief look into the tussle between Thaman, Nithya, and the other judge, Karthik.

Nithya Menen and Karthik heap praise on Maruti and Shravana Bhargavi, saying that the duo delivered an impressive performance as they crooned Yevandoi Nani Garu from MCA. But, Thaman disagrees and he terms the performance "a below-average fare." This sparks a heated conversation between Thaman and Nithya. Thaman says "your performance (Maruti and Shravana Bhargavi) did not make my ears happy" and Nithya replies, "My ears are very happy."
