A 35-year-old woman has been arrested for attempted murder after she allegedly fired shots Sunday at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home, the Los Angeles Police Department told HuffPost.
The woman, identified as Ivanna Ortiz, was taken into custody Sunday, according to The Los Angeles Times. The LAPD said a weapon was recovered from the scene, but didn’t tell HuffPost how many rounds Ortiz shot or what kind of weapon was used. The woman used an AR-15-style gun, and Rihanna was home at the time of the shooting, but no injuries have been reported, the Times stated.
Ortiz was booked Monday and is being held on $10.2 million bail, according to jail records.
The LAPD told HuffPost that the incident is still under investigation.
According to a police radio dispatch reviewed by the Times, 10 shots had been fired from a car across the street from Rihanna’s home. At least four of the rounds hit the home, according to NBC4. Police found bullet holes in the gate at the “Diamonds” singer’s home, the Times reported.
