Nick Jonas shares the one thing he'd tell his younger self and it involves Priyanka Chopra. His emotional reflections reveal how much life has changed since.
Nick Jonas has shared a heartfelt message he would give his younger self -- and it begins with marrying Priyanka Chopra. The singer revealed that if he could offer one piece of advice to his past self, it would simply be: “Congratulations, you get to marry Priyanka Chopra.”
Appearing on the Jay Shetty podcast, Nick reflected on how profoundly his life has changed since marrying the actor in 2018 and becoming a father to their daughter, Malti Marie. His words were tender and proud, with family clearly at the centre of everything. “You also get an incredible daughter,” he added, making it clear that this chapter of his life feels nothing short of extraordinary.
Nick spoke openly about the bond he shares with Priyanka, praising her instincts and emotional intelligence. He joked that she is almost always one step ahead when it comes to reading people. “She’s always right about people before I can see it,” he said, admitting that he often realises later that she was spot on.
The comments offered a glimpse into their partnership, built on trust, respect and a shared ability to navigate life’s pressures -- both personal and professional -- together.
The conversation took a more emotional turn when Nick spoke about Malti’s arrival, a story he said he rarely discusses publicly. Their daughter was born prematurely under intense circumstances, weighing just 1 pound, 11 ounces.
“She came into the world under very intense circumstances,” Nick recalled, explaining that what was meant to be an April birth turned into an emergency hospital visit much earlier than expected. Malti spent over three months in the neonatal intensive care unit, requiring six blood transfusions in her early weeks.
