NIA declares Rs 10 lakh reward on Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar

The National Investigation Agency has declared a cash reward on Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar accused of a murder conspiracy.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has declared a Rs 10 lakh reward on fugitive Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He is accused of conspiring to kill a Hindu priest in Punjab's Jalandhar.
The conspiracy to kill the priest was hatched by the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF). Nijjar, who is based in Canada, is the chief of the KTF.
Last year, NIA filed a chargesheet against Hardeep Singh Nijjar in a case of conspiracy to commit terrorist acts against India.
Meanwhile, India’s intelligence agencies have said that the role of “most-wanted” Hardeep Singh Nijjar in the killing of Ripudaman Singh Malik cannot be ruled out. Malik, acquitted in the 1985 Air India bombing, was shot dead in Canada’s Surrey.
NIA is not involved in the case, but if any leads link Nijjar or Sikh radicals to the killing, they would carefully evaluate their roles in the case.
