Just a day after Orlando Bloom made headlines for his split from fiancée Katy Perry, the actor has caused a wave of speculation online after greeting Kim Kardashian in Venice ahead of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s star-studded wedding.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star was photographed speaking to Kardashian outside the Gritti Palace Hotel on Thursday as celebs rolled into the city for a multiday celebration. He was also seen chatting it up with the Skims founder’s sister Khloé Kardashian and their mother, Kris Jenner.
Though nothing appeared particularly out of the ordinary in photos of Bloom and Kardashian speaking in Venice, people still recalled a viral moment last year in which Bloom was accused of “checking out” Kardashian’s butt at an event during New York Ready-to-Wear Fashion Week.
Perry laughed it off at the time, but this didn’t stop fans from playing the guessing game about the recent interaction between the “Lord of the Rings” star and Kardashian.
